Paddle, Pedal or Motor

This is a truly versatile kayak. Paddle the Shearwater with the Versa Console plugged into the footwell. The Versa Console features a flip-up lid to access internal storage for tackle. The lid even has an integrated magnetic tackle and tool holder! Purchase the optional Vibe X-Drive pedal system and you can cruise the waters quickly and efficiently and use the drive to hold your position against the wind or current. Perfect for the lure anglers wanting to control their craft whilst a rod is in their hands. The Shearwater is also Bixpy-Ready thanks to Vibe Gravity Rudder System which allows you to simply bolt a Bixpy Motor to it's base.

Comfort and Customisation

Sit back and relax in the Vibe Summit seat offering plenty of adjustment for the perfect pedalling and fishing positions. Adjustable Freeflow footrests allow you to paddle efficiently and control the rudder, but the Shearwater also feature hand steering controls beside the seat so you can steer whilst pedalling. Customisation is made very easy with the inclusion of 4 top loading gear tracks for mounting additional rod holders,camera mounts and more. Need to bolt something to the hull or run wires inside? You will find 3 access hatches (bow, stern and centre) allowing you to reach inside of the kayak for accessory rigging. Easily install a fish finder with the removable pod, which includes a transducer mounting point. The pod features a hinged lid with access inside to store a battery and wiring.

Plenty of Room for Fishing Tackle and Gear

Equipped with 4 vertical rod holders, and 4 horizontal rod storage slots with tip protectors so you can carry all your fishing set ups on the water. There is no shortage of tackle storage spots too - the large rear cargo well will carry a storage crate with room to spare! Beside the seat you find 2 tackle tray holders, each one will hold 2 x PLANO 3600 tackle boxes (sold separately). A handy Tackle Tray slides out from under the seat so that you essential gear is within easy reach. Additional storage space can be found at the bow with a Flex Top gear cover to hold your gear in place. The cover also features a quick stow paddle blade holder - handy for quickly storing the paddle when you get a bite. Bungee paddle holders can also be found either side of the kayak.

Spot those Pike in the margins and cast straight at them! You can also get the additional Summit Perch Seat (sold separately) to offer an even higher stand point.

Other features include 4 x Phantom Grip Carry Handles, 2 heavy-load stern handles, 2 cup holders, EVA pad kit in the footwell for sound dampening, a removable skid plate and 2 x Power-Pole mounting points at the stern.
