Designed to offer a great all-round mirage drive kayak at a really great price. The Passport 12 follows on from the success of the smaller 10.5 yet offers increased deck space and a hull more suitable for open coastal waters. Whilst the deck is a little less feature-rich than other models, the Passport still has all the important features that will ensure you enjoy your day on the water and have all the benefits that a Hobie Mirage Drive kayak can offer.

Equipped with a Mirage Drive GT with Kick Up Fins, this drive system keeps things simple for ease of use and for easy maintenance. Features Glide Technology (GT) where roller bearings are used at pivot points for a smooth pedalling experience. Kick-Up Fins will automatically kick up out of harms way if you strike an underwater object, thus greatly reducing the chance of damaging your fins. The pedal crank arms are adjustable to allow for users of various heights to use the Passport. Fitted with efficient ST fins for great performance. The Passport comes with a aluminium frame mesh seat with tilt adjustment for a comfortable pedaaling experience. The seat can also be used as a beach chair. A simplified rudder system offers fingertip control of the Passport and uses a push-pull rod design for direct control and ease of maintenance. The rudder is manually deployed and hauled when launching and landing and is controlled using the steering handle beside the seat.

Constructed from a two-tone thermoformed hull, with injection-moulded mirage drive well, offering a lightweight kayak for easier handling off the water. Storage space is supplied via bow and stern cargo areas with bungee and an 8in twist and seal is fitted in the centre of the footwell for storing small essentials for easy access on the water. Accessory gear tracks are fitted either side of the footwell offering a great place to fit fish finders, extra rod holders, camera mounts and more. A vertical accessory tube is fitted at the bow end of the footwell for optional accessories such as the Sail Kit and Bimini. EVA deck pads are even fitted just forwards of the seat for stand up fishing techniques. Other features include a transducer cavity for easier fish finder install, two flush mount rod holders and carry handles.
