The Profish 400 makes a superb first fishing kayak for those wanting to fish on the sea. With its flared bow and smooth hull design the Profish 400 paddles well in moderate coastal conditions but will also take on bigger sea conditions for the more experienced paddlers out there. At over 13ft long, with its excellent hull design, the profish 400 is a fast kayak to paddle, making this a really great choice for battling lively coastal waters. The bow rides over chop well and with ample stability to give plenty of confidence to the paddler to target big fish out on the salt.

The Profish 400 features a centre storage well with a black polycarbonate lid that has a handy built-in wooden bait chopping board! This makes a useful mounting surface for a fish finder or other accessories. The storage space beneath is perfect for storing a couple of small tackle boxes and other essentials that you need to hand during a session. An Optional 'Profish 400 Tackle-Pod' can be fitted here to provide a removable tackle and fishfinder unit/battery storage pod - great for loading up your gear at home ready for a session.

A central screw hatch provides additional storage whilst the larger oval bow hatch makes a great place to store extra gear or a fold-up trolley such as the popular Railblaza C-Tug. There is also plenty of storage for your fishing rods with 6 flush mount rod holders - 2 front facing and 4 rear facing. Adjutsable footrests ensure a comfortable paddling position can be found. The large rear tankwell has plenty of space for gear storage and will easily take a storage crate or the dedicated optional Profish Chill-Pod - a great way to keep your catch fresh whilst on the water. There is even enough space in the tankwell to set up a seat for a child! Want to install a fish finder? The Profish 400 has a larger transducer recess beneath the kayak to make fish finder installation easier. Use the additional Viking Kayaks Fish Finder Install Kit for easy transducer installation. It is also easy to install an Anchor Trolley System thanks to the moulded-in threaded inserts (M5 bolt size) found at the bow and stern.
