RTM Rytmo Luxe
The RTM Rytmo is a fast sit on top kayak designed for touring and exploring on the open ocean. The long sleek hull is fantastic for covering longer distances on the coast and handling choppy waves and swell - great for day trips of 10-20+ miles! Fit some optional Flush Mount Rod Holders to the Rytmo and you have a very capable fishing kayak for coastal and offshore fishing.
The hull design is based on the popular and much loved RTM Tempo, but the Rytmo offers a number of additions to the design, including a slightly wider hull for a touch of extra stability, a slightly longer waterline length for a bit of extra speed along with a number of useful features for touring and for those who want to go fishing. The Rytmo features a large front hatch with dual-density hatch cover (nice and easy to put on and take off) and a moulded-in hatch bucket. There is a central rectangular console with flip-up lid, with a moulded-in storage area - useful for putting kit that you need to access quickly and easily on the water. You can also mount accessories to the hatch lid. Just in front of the seat you will also find a small cirular hatch with rubber hatch cover and removable hatch bag, again useful for holding small essentials. Side pockets with rubber mesh are also found either side of the footwell. There is a good sized rear storage well for a large dry bag or perhaps a crate of fishing gear. With plenty of storage space you can easily load up for an adventure!
Safety deck lines run along the kayak, and a paddle holder is found on either side of the kayak for stowing your paddle whilst it is not in use. Scupper drainage holes allows the deck to self-drain should water splash over the sides. The seating area features d-ring clip points allowing you to add any clip-in kayak seat - we recommend the Feelfree Deluxe Seat. Adjustable footrests allow for a wide range of paddler heights to paddle the Rytmo in comfort. There are dedicated areas just behind the seat for the installation of optional flush mount rod holders if you want to turn your Rytmo into a fishing kayak!
