Garmin Striker Vivid 4cv
The Striker Vivid 4cv combines the latest CHIRP sonar fish finder technology with a basic GPS chartplotter that allows you to map out the seabed and build up your own basemap charts!
This unit offers excellent value for money with an easy to use interface and bright 4-inch colour display. The new Sonar colour palettes allow you to choose from 7 colour themes when viewing your sonar images. Featuring Garmin CHIRP technology combined with Garmin ClearVu downscanning sonar for a highly detailed image of what passes beneath. You clearly see structures such as reefs, submerged objects and fish. Instead of sending just 1 single frequency, CHIRP sends a continuous sweep of frequencies, ranging from low to high, then interprets them individually upon their return. Using a range of frequencies provides a wider range of information, which the unit then uses to create crisper fish arches with greater target separation. In a nutshell, you get a clearer image of whats beneath you!
A built-in GPS lets you mark your favourite fishing spots or launch sites, create routes and view your vessels speed. As standard the Striker Vivid 4cv has a simple blank basemap however the unit features Garmin Quickdraw™ Contours mapping software that lets you create and store maps with 1-foot contours for up to 2 million acres... you can literally create your own basemap of the seabed! Built-in Wifi allows you to connect to the Garmin ActiveCaptain app to transfer waypoints, receive smart notifications and access the Garmin Quickdraw Community.
A great fish finder for kayak fishing and a nice compact size for smaller fishing kayaks.
Please note this unit does not come with a battery. See the powering options tab for more details.
